This jelly is sold locally in Japan from May to the middle of August and you can get them directly from Minamoto Kitchoan or at major department stores. 2. Natsukan by Toraya

This famous sweet shop that has been around for ages puts in a lot of care and time in making Japanese sweets like Kanten and cooling summer jellies that showcase the seasonal fruits well. Here, you'll be able to find Kyoho grape, Nanko plum,  kumquat and green yuzu flavored jellies! Toraya's summer jellies are usually sold from June to the end of August but there are some types that are sold for a longer period of time. 3. Natsukanto by Oimatsu

Freshly squeezed juice from summer oranges harvested in Japan is mixed with gelatin and then poured into an empty orange skin and left to cool to make the yummiest summer jelly ever!  It's not too tart and not too sweet and you won't miss the fragrant smell from the orange peel.
