Access to Grandberry Park

The nearest station to Grandberry Park is Minami-machida Grandberry Park Station. You can reach it in about 33 minutes from Shibuya Station without needing any transfers by taking the express train on the Den-en-toshi Line. If you opt for the local train, the journey will take approximately one hour. Once you arrive at the station, Grandberry Park is right in front of you, right past the ticket gates, making access incredibly convenient.

As you pass through the Station Court and enter the Central Court, you'll be greeted by a vibrant array of stores lining both sides of the street. The main stores and restaurants are concentrated in this area, creating a bustling and lively atmosphere. Head in the direction of the Wonder Theater and you'll eventually spot Snoopy Museum Tokyo and PEANUTS Cafe, tucked away behind the GiGO game center and movie theater. Beyond them lies the lush Tsuruma Park, home to Tsuruma Forest, Playground of Forest, and Sports Field.

Snoopy Museum Tokyo

Situated next to Grandberry Park, Snoopy Museum Tokyo is the only satellite of the Charles M. Schulz Museum in California, U.S.A. Boasting both permanent and regularly changing special exhibitions, this museum is a true treasure trove for Snoopy enthusiasts. Upon entering the first floor, you'll find a ticket booth and a workshop space where visitors can partake in exciting hands-on activities. One such workshop allows guests to craft their very own Snoopy plushie! To ensure a spot at the workshop, reservations can be made through the official website.

The second and third floors serve as exhibition spaces. The permanent exhibition provides a captivating glimpse into the life and creative journey of PEANUTS comic creator Charles M. Schulz. You'll also have the chance to immerse yourself in the world of PEANUTS through a delightful display of the characters, photos, videos, reproductions of original comic strips, and vintage goods. It's worth noting that the theme of each exhibition is carefully selected in collaboration with the museum in the U.S., with a collection of original artwork specially brought in for display in Japan.

During our visit, the special exhibition revolved around "~Food in PEANUTS~" exploring the favorite and least favorite foods of Snoopy and his pals. We couldn't help but chuckle at Snoopy's adorable expressions while munching on his beloved doughnut or grimacing at the taste of coconut.

The biggest highlight of Snoopy Museum Tokyo is undoubtedly the SNOOPY ROOM. As you step into this white-walled sanctuary, you'll be greeted by an enormous SNOOPY that is about 8 meters long lying in the center, surrounded by an ensemble of smaller Snoopy statues, each posing with a unique expression. The moment you enter, an involuntary gasp might escape your lips, and you'll find yourself unable to resist capturing numerous photos.

We recommend that you use your smartphone to read the QR code on the wall and link it to the camera on the ceiling. This will let you take a picture with the giant Snoopy from above, which is difficult to do with a selfie! If you like the picture taken, you can download and save the photo for an additional fee.

Once you've had your fill of the museum's wonders, make sure to stop by the store on the first floor. Prepare to be charmed by a splendid selection of postcards, perfect for sending to friends and family, as well as everyday items adorned with delightful Snoopy designs. And don't miss the chance to take home a very cute Snoopy Museum Tokyo original stuffed animal. By the time you leave, your bags will undoubtedly be filled with cherished memorabilia from this enchanting place!

How to Buy Tickets for Snoopy Museum Tokyo

Snoopy Museum Tokyo tickets can be purchased on the official website from 2 months to 1 day prior to the date of admission. You can print out the tickets at convenience stores or download them via QR code. In both cases, tickets will be exchanged for a MAP at the ticket counter. During the "LUCY IS HERE" exhibition starting from July 15, 2023, visitors will receive a limited edition card in place of the MAP.

We recommend you buy tickets ahead of time as they're only sold on the premises if the museum hasn't hit full capacity. Buying the tickets in advance also nets you a 200 yen discount!

PEANUTS Cafe

If you know Japanese, the names of the products alone will make your mouth water! GiGO is short for "Get into the Gaming Oasis," and as its name suggests, the arcade chain promises an exhilarating experience for gaming enthusiasts of all ages. Located within the vibrant wonderland of Grandberry Park, GiGO's Wonder Theater is a gaming haven with entertainment options ranging from the classic crane game machines and print sticker machines to heart-pounding rhythm games and race games. We were thrilled to discover a crane machine filled with limited-edition items from popular works, and one of us managed to snag the stuffed animal they had their heart set on! If you're eager to experience the thrill of Japanese arcade games, GiGO is an absolute must-visit destination.

Grandberry Park's Information Center

Once you exit Minami-machida Grandberry Park Station, you will be at the Station Court. Here you will find an information center where you can learn more about the Grandberry Park complex in English. Feel free to ask the staff for a map in your language as well as a list of stores where you can do some duty-free shopping. If you need Japanese yen in cash, there is also a foreign currency exchange machine. And of course, if you have any questions, the staff will be more than happy to help.
