1. Kadensho
There are 3 types of rooms: Kyo-machiya, Kyo-wafu, and Kyo-modern. The guest rooms with open-air baths are also recommended. Here, you can enjoy 5 private baths and atmospheric public open-air baths, which you won't see elsewhere in Kyoto. There are several nearby hot spring facilities that only take a few minutes to get to, so you can enjoy going around and testing them out!

Dinner comes in the form of an order buffet, which is where you can order as much of certain dishes as you want. 2. Hotel Kitanoya

This inn is a 10-minute walk from the famous sightseeing destination, Kiyomizu Temple (Kiyomizu-dera). They only offer Japanese-style rooms and futon for bedding. Wi-Fi is free of charge. 6. Togetsutei
This inn is based at the bosom of Arashiyama, Kyoto. It is a well-established and refined facility that has been in business for 150 years. The inside is extremely peaceful, so you will definitely enjoy a calming, luxurious stay here. 7. Ichiboukan
This hot spring inn is just a 1 minute walk to the beach. On top of offering hot springs, they also provide spectacular ocean views and a restaurant where you can savor the taste of freshly grilled crabs. Their Japanese-style guest rooms with tatami flooring come with futon for bedding, an A/C, a fridge, and an electric kettle. 8. Sumihei
Built in 1868, this inn is located in a quiet fishing village that's surrounded by nature. The magnificent and beautiful view of the Sea of Japan can be appreciated from every guest room. Blessed with fresh seafood like Taiza crab, abalone, shrimp, sea bream, and sea urchin, this is a great location to partake in dishes made with such ingredients, as well as local cooking that characterizes the fishing village.

10. Kaisyu
Every guest room in this facility offers an ocean view. After enjoying a swim in the ocean, walk through the exclusive corridor that leads to the showers, where you can wash away the sand without taking off your bathing suit, after which you can proceed directly to the large public bath. You can fully enjoy your bath without having to worry about anything, because you can leave your clothing in a coin locker in the changing room. The surrounding area of Tango, where Kaisyu is located, has several ports. This means that you can savor the taste of seasonal, fresh fish presented in a funamori (boat-shaped platter).
