Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo is situated in Nakameguro, a stylish and lively part of the city. They have over 100 types of limited edition coffee, along with fragrant teas, cocktails, and even an Italian bakery, Princi, the first of its kind in Japan. They even stock a nice range of limited edition goods! The snazzy building is made up of 4 floors, with floors 1 to 3 dedicated to food and drinks. They have a lounge space on the 4th floor that can be rented out for various events.
Try Their Freshly Ground Roast Coffee!
Step through the entrance on the 1st floor and you will find their main bar. Here, you can try the very same coffee that has been tested by the professional tasters at Starbucks, each of whom have sampled over 250,000 cups of coffee yearly. They also have a large commercial roaster on this floor, which is used to roast beans for all their branch stores across the country. Access and Things to Keep in Mind
There are two stations close to Roastery Tokyo: Ikejiri-ohashi Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line and Naka-meguro Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line and the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. Both will require you to walk for around 14 minutes to reach the store. If you are coming from Tokyo Station, either station will take you around 25 to 30 minutes to get to via train.
As a side note, please be aware that during peak operating periods when the store gets really busy, they will start handing out tickets to customers waiting to enter. You will need one ticket for each member of your party, so pay special attention to the instructions given at the store when you arrive.
