Nurukan Sato

Roppongi, Tokyo

Our substantial selection lets you experience the depth and complexity of sake. Enjoy trying them at our comfortable counter seats - great for a date!!

We usually stock around 120 different sakes, all tested and individually selected by our staff. Feel free to try a few, so that even those with little experience of sake can find one they enjoy. We offer tasting platters from different production areas. We have many delicious red king crab items on our menu, which go perfectly with sake. Delicacies such as tempura, Ruibe (frozen sashimi), roast hotpot, and raisin butter are all married perfectly with different types of sake. Manager Kaneko says, "I love it when people who don't actually know that much about sake come and stop by." The restaurant works hard to explain to customers the depth of sake's flavors, which is done by letting them try comparison sets of the same sake at different temperatures. The counter seating is great for couples on a date or groups of women. The staff offers their full support to those who aren't familiar with sake, which lets you have a fun time while getting to drink and compare different types of sake.

Okonomiyaki Monjayaki Asakusa Tsurujiro

Asakusa/Ryogoku, Tokyo

Our "Okonomiyaki" features a fascinating Tokyo arrangement of ingredients and is prepared right in front of you by our traditionally-trained Japanese chef

There's still unexplored territory when it comes to okonomiyaki (traditional stuffed savory pancakes). Our "Two-Flavor Yaki" is filled half with pork and eggs and half with roe and cheese. Our chef Hamada tells us that "there are so many things no one has thought of yet when it comes to okonomiyaki-the possibilities are fascinating." Chef Hamada brings out the savory deliciousness in his ingredients-particularly seafood-using high heat with his teppanyaki. He prepares our carefully selected, fresh ingredients right in front of you. Another specialty is is "Furano Beef Steak," which features rare flap meat cut and is an excellent value for the prices. Due to our central location, there are days where our bustling restaurant is very full. However Chef Hamada takes full advantage of his traditional Japanese training to carefully craft each meal with care, one at a time, pouring his full effort into each and every pancake. If you visit on a weekday, try our "banquet course" (limited to one party), which allows yo

Otaru Masazushi Zenan

Otaru/Niseko, Hokkaido

Enjoy our select natural tuna nigiri sushi with a great view of the Otaru canal

The select natural tuna here at Otaru Masazushi comes from large tuna that weigh between 300 and 350 kg. It is very fatty, making it an excellent sushi topping with a flavor hard to find at other restaurants. We search for and serve especially sweet sea urchin, and we do not use alum to preserve the shape, so you can taste the raw, natural flavor. Our shrimp dishes use fresh-caught deep-sea shrimp and button shrimp unless it is seasonally unavailable. We pay careful attention to our customers and aim to create a pleasant atmosphere, serving tea before they have the chance to ask for it. We welcome and cheerfully interact with the many tourists that visit our restaurant. We are the only Otaru Masazushi branch where customers can enjoy a meal with a view. We hope you will enjoy a meal while looking out over nighttime views of the Otaru Canal, beautiful in all seasons.

Piopiko

Kawaramachi/Kiyamachi/Pontocho (Downtown Kyoto), Kyoto

An innovative restaurant that fuses Mexican culture with Kyoto's ingenuity to deliver authentic Mexican flavors.

Piopiko makes the most of Kyoto's charm while respecting Mexican cuisine's history. The restaurant perfectly intersects traditional Mexican cuisine and progressive design, offering visitors a new culinary experience. You can enjoy, for example, "Tacos," which are vegan-friendly, "Tiradito," which is prepared mainly with Kyoto vegetables, and "Crepas Con Cajeta," which is made of tortilla dough. The floor design is a collaboration between a well-known Japanese architect and an American design group, and the open space of the duplex structure from the middle two floors to the second floor is attractive. It embodies the hotel's "East meets West" concept and deeply impresses everyone with the food and the space.
