Sushi Dai

Odaiba/Tsukishima/Toyosu, Tokyo

Sorry if you have to queue - the very best sushi served here is well worth the wait! The entertaining service provided by the staff will leave no customer bored

Although it is often said that starters should be light and simple, this restaurant serves "Otoro" (fatty tuna) as a starter of the "Omakase"("Select") course. We serve the fatty sushi at the beginning because we want the customers who may have queued to eat this rich-tasting sushi first. Our motto is to make sure the fish that we serve is fresh and seasonal, wherever the place of origin of the fish may be. Mr. Urushihara says, "Based on my experience, I believe it is very crucial to pick fresh fish, and also to build a strong relationship with the fish wholesaler". Mr Urushihara goes around the fish market by himself every morning to buy fresh fish that are in season. We value not only the taste but the conversations we have with our customers over the open kitchen as well. Don't hesitate to visit our sushi restaurant and enjoy delicious sushi here. We apologize if you have to queue. There are many customers who visit us alone, so we try to talk to them so that they can feel at ease.

Sushi Hanayoshi

Otaru/Niseko, Hokkaido

A very popular sushi restaurant among foreign tourists to fully enjoy seafood from Hokkaido.

Fully enjoy high-quality seafood at our restaurant in Niseko, one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Hokkaido. We stock seafood from all over Hokkaido, mainly from near fish ports such as Iwanai and Suttsu. We assure our seafood quality, as the owner takes 2 hours to go to the fish market in Sapporo every day and select them himself. Other than fresh seafood, flounder and blue fish are matured to increase its savory taste. These impressive sushi toppings go perfectly well with Akita-Komachi, a brand rice mixed with a red vinegar. We carefully hand form the rice for sushi so that it perfectly falls apart in your mouth. Though this restaurant has an authentic Japanese atmosphere, we always have English speaking staff as many foreign tourists visit Niseko. By being fascinated with our international and warm atmosphere, many people become repeaters.
