Ryuzushi

Enjoy the sushi, which can be called "Minami-uonuma-style," with locally grown wild plants, mushrooms, and vegetables.

You can savor nigiri with maitake mushrooms on top of fatty tuna, rolls topped with fresh kikurage mushrooms, and so on. Ryuzushi uses local mushrooms and wild vegetables as the star ingredients. It was renovated in 2021, with counter seating as the main space. The course includes about five appetizer dishes and about 12 pieces of nigiri, seasonal fish from all over Japan, and natural delicacies from Niigata and Minami-uonuma. Fascinated by the only nigiri that can only be found here, foodies come from all over the country. It is also a favorite of renowned Hong Kong gastronomist Mr. Chai Lan, describing it as "the best sushi restaurant in Japan."

Kuon-Yamato is a new brand by Sagami Holdings, which has been promoting Japanese food culture in Japan and abroad, focusing on soba and udon noodles. The restaurant is in the building of the Japanese restaurant Sagami. It proposes a Kaiseki (traditional multi-course meal) course completely different from the usual Sagami menu. The theme of the course is "Japanese long-established establishment." Ingredients and seasonings delivered from long-established stores throughout Japan are served as typical Japanese dishes such as sukiyaki, tempura, soba, sushi, and wagashi (Japanese sweets). Selected brands of sake are also available from long-established breweries. The private space is ideal for special occasions. San Bettei Kitashinchi Branch offers the same taste as Okinawa's main restaurant in Osaka. Recommended is the "Pineapple Agu Pork Mozuku Lettuce Shabu Course." Pineapple Agu pork is fed with pineapple powder as part of the feed, which makes the meat tender and moist. After cooking the pork in the beautiful crystal pot, you can enjoy it with housemade ponzu (Japanese citrus juice). Sandaime Wakihiko Shouten is a new type of yakiniku restaurant that serves only rice and meat, and the idea is that the restaurant wants customers to "experience the true taste of yakiniku." Only courses are offered, and rice freshly cooked in an iron pot is available with free refills. The Wakihiko style is to savor the original flavor of the meat, not as side dishes for Sake. Its special sauce is a miso-based black sauce inherited from the first owner in 1918, a vinegar wholesaler, and newly developed white and red sauces.
