1. Gallery Monokoto

Nakazakicho is an area full of cafes and sundries shops. In one of the alleys there is a rental gallery called Gallery Monokoto. Its concept is "a slow gallery." In order to achieve that, they created a simple, warm space where people can leisurely enjoy the exhibitions and their time there. The art events held here focus on illustrations and photography by art students and professional artists. This gallery uses antique-style furniture to give it an atmosphere of a hiding place. Please come here to experience the talents of Japanese youth.

They will hold Frog Exhibition 3 in June 2016. This exhibition features a variety of illustrations and photographs around the theme of "frog."

2. Gallery 1616

This gallery is in Shin-Sekai, the business area of Osaka where people from all over the world gather. It\'s mostly an exhibition space for art pieces, but sometimes it\'s also the location for limited pop-up fashion or sundry shops. From Thursday, August 25th, 2016 to Sunday, August 28th, 2016 they\'re holding the 3rd HiNT Exhibition. During that exhibit you\'ll be able to enjoy art pieces like abstract paintings by three creators. The gallery is on the first floor of Atelier 1616, an atelier used by a number of creators, so this gallery is recommended for people that want to interact with and get information about various kinds of artists.

4. Gallery and Cafe Tina Lente

Nakazakicho, an area full of retro shops that look like hiding places, is a fun area to take a walk in. Among all those old buildings is Gallery and Cafe Tina Lente. Of course, they hold art and photography exhibitions and workshops, but they\'re also known for their music concerts using instruments like lutes, morin khuur (a Mongolian stringed instrument), bandoneons (South American accordion-like instrument), and more. Also, every Friday-Sunday as well as holidays as well as exhibition Mondays and Thursdays, they operate a cafe (2:00 pm - 7:00 pm).
